I would recommend this class to my friends
because I felt that this course allowed me to gain more practice with
writing the way that high schools prefer you to write.
For me, it felt as though I was given a
‘second chance’ to give essays a shot; instead of being limited to what
I was assigned to do in school, I could take similar concepts and
stories that I was applying and using in school and apply them to my
writing here.
The teachers helped me understand
concepts we learned in school that I didn’t quite grasp, and they also
taught us new skills to use in our writing to make it better.
