Mr. Michael Di Paola
Mr.
Di Paola has been teaching mathematics at Amador Valley High School in
Pleasanton since 2000. He is also the former chair of the math department at
Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward where he spent the previous eight years.
During his career, he has taught every level of mathematics from Pre-Algebra to
Honors Pre-Calculus. He has also coached several high school sports including
volleyball, softball, baseball, and wrestling. He earned a B.A. in Mathematics
from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1990 with honors. Mr. Di
Paola was born and raised in Fremont and served as American High School's ASB
President in 1986. He enjoys playing, coaching, and watching all kinds of sports
and spending time with his family which includes four young children./x-tad-smaller>
