Mr. Brett Lotz
 Brett Lotz grew up in San Ramon, California and is the son
of two retired elementary school teachers. Brett got his first taste of being in
the classroom while spending many hours helping his parents with their students.
While attending UC Santa Barbara, Brett wrote for the school newspaper and
worked at a local public relations firm. After receiving his B.A. in
Communications with a minor in Spanish, Brett worked in marketing for a software
company for three years. He then decided to follow his passion for working
with children, and become a teacher. He currently teaches 3rd grade in the
Evergreen School District in San Jose. Bretts other great passion is traveling.
He has spent time in Europe, Costa Rica, Peru, and most recently Ethiopia, where
he had the privilege of mentoring Ethiopian teachers and working with their
students.
