Ms. Christina Ma

Ms. Christina Ma is a Mission San Jose High School graduate as well as a former MCA student. With Mrs. Sabraw as one of her greatest inspirations and mentors, she knew teaching was her calling. She, like Mrs. Sabraw, attended University of the Pacific for her undergraduate studies at the Benerd School of Education, completing both her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and her teaching credential in 2006. She then continued at UOP for her Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction in education. Christina currently teaches in San Jose and feels accomplished seeing her students learn. Christina was a devoted student at MCA since its first year of operation and continued throughout high school both as a student and as an office assistant at MCA. Christina’s passion for teaching, love for learning, and enjoyment in working with students is visible the minute she steps into a room of eager and willing learners. When she is not teaching, Christina enjoys traveling, cooking, exercising, and spending time with her family
